Overview
Pro-Spin Sports is a direct-to-consumer brand making premium table tennis and pickleball gear — paddles, nets, and all-in-one sets — trusted by over a million players.
Challenge
Pro-Spin had strong product-market fit and glowing reviews but was over-reliant on a handful of hero SKUs and marketplace demand. On Meta, creative was mostly static product shots that fatigued quickly; on Google, Shopping was under-built and non-brand search barely registered — capping new-customer growth heading into peak gifting season.
Approach
We built a creative testing system around social proof and use-case angles (family game night, garage setups, pickleball doubles), rotating statics, UGC, and short demos to keep prospecting fresh. We restructured Meta into a lean prospecting + retargeting funnel and rebuilt Google Shopping across the full catalog with Performance Max, plus a clean non-brand search layer to capture 'ping pong set' and 'pickleball paddle' intent.
Results
Within two months, blended ROAS lifted into a healthy, scalable range as spend nearly doubled into Q4. The social-proof creative drove the bulk of new-customer purchases on Meta, while the rebuilt Google Shopping feed captured high-intent buyers Pro-Spin had been missing entirely.
